How i feel about the class

I felt i learned alot in this class. For other student coming in i would say research early and pick a topic you enjoy and that you understand. i picked a topic that was a little complicated to understand the material out there. I would also suggest writing a little all the time. I did not do as well as i would of liked to in the class but this quarter has been such a struggle with being homeless and not having the internet most of this term. I enjoyed the class and felt the Professor is awesome and helped alot when i needed it. Good luck to all of you. Hope to see you around.

Finishing my paper.

My paper is not quite done yet. I am a little anxious about getting it done on time. I have had so many struggles this term and i am just fighting to stay on track. I am glad the term is almost over and i can relax for a week. I felt the subject i choose to write about was a little to technical for me and it was hard to simplify the paper for other to understand what i am talking about.

I have enjoyed writing on my blog and i would like to continue and use it. It is a great place to keep a diary of my progress in school. I like having a place to put my thought and my ideas.

Peer review

I have enjoyed peer reviews. I have had good luck in the past and they have helped me write a better paper. I know when i started doing peer reviews i was a little nervous but it has helped me see where i can do better. I have had a hard time giving peer review because i don't want to hurt anyones feelings by pointing out what they can fix. I have learned that it helps other though. I have enjoyed using the writing center they give great feedback and let you know where you can improve.

things i am dealing with

The last six weeks have been real hard for me i started the first week homeless and had to move to a shelter i got behind in both my classes and then got sick and then got caught up again. Last week i moved to a new town in a new shelter i am without the internet again i am behind again and i am sick with broncitis, croup, and fluid on the ears. I just want the rest of the next few weeks to go easier on me.

academeic challenges

The one academic challenge i have is that i suffer from fibromyalgia so sometimes i am in so much pain i have a hard time concentrating and doing homework i just want to lay in bed and do nothing. Otherwise school is enjoyable for me i like learning.

Why you need to cite

I feel you need to cite the information you get from another source because i feel someone has worked hard to give the information and it is wrong to steal it and use it as your own. It is important as a student especially to cite as you can fail and be kicked out of school.

Being an online student

I like being an online student i went to a university about ten years ago and i enjoyed that but being online is good to. I don't know that i like the anonymity but i do like the flexibility and being self directed. I suffer from fibromyalgia and there are days i don't want to get out of bed and so being able to do things on a different day works well for me. I think having study groups and giving out emails would help to create a closer class community.

Hello Professor and classmates. I have never had a blog before so I am excited to use it. I am excited about class and learning to write a good paper. I am married with 6 children and 3 granddaughter and this is my fourth term in school.
